An Auto Industry Executive with over 30 years of OEM experience whose abilities were most notably tested during the Great Recession. As EVP of Sales at Kia Motors America, a strategy was developed and executed that protected existing Retailers, as well as capitalized on the limited opportunities available in the marketplace. This two-pronged approach ultimately led to the doubling of sales, market share, and dealer profitability over a seven-year period.
Navigating this unique economic period required a multi-faceted plan and a collaborative approach. A major portion of the plan included program development that would generate a “win/win” for KMA and its existing Retailers. A transformation of the Retailer network that included the approval of more than 150 buy/sells over several years was also required.
Other key roles at DaimlerChrysler and Jaguar Land Rover have provided additional foundational elements including: distribution and logistics, multicultural, and practical experience.
